Located in a secluded valley, Highway Farm’s fishing lakes are the perfect place to relax and enjoy a day’s fishing.  We have two established and sheltered spring-fed lakes which are well stocked with Tench and plenty of strains and sizes of Carp to 12 lbs. There is also an abundance of Roach, Rudd, and goldfish too.

Corn, meat, or dog biscuits on a light float set-up will bring plenty of bites from the well-conditioned carp or try sneaking around the bank with a few crusts of bread.  Alternatively, simply just try floating fish maggots, for the hoards of rudd to come swimming by.

So, why not come down to the lakes for the day if you are staying in our accommodation or live nearby?  Staying guests  can fish for free.
